Classes in Atlanta
Gina teaches classes regularly in the Atlanta area with a variety of partners. She is an active teacher for Down South Swing, an Atlanta organization for swing dance education. Current & upcoming classes are listed below.

4-week series: May 15, 22, 29, June 5
Thursdays, 7:30-8:30pm

JAZZ 102: Classic Jazz Routines: The Shim Sham
This class series will be devoted to teaching you classic jazz choreographies. Many popular jazz choreographies come directly from Lindy Hop legends Whitey's Lindy Hoppers, including Frankie Manning himself. This month's choreography is the Shim Sham. Perhaps "THE" authentic jazz choreo, this was arguably adapted from a routine well-known amongst tap dancers, though its origins are disputed. Regardless of who actually made it up, this is a popular routine with Lindy Hoppers and the steps are often called by Frankie Manning over the microphone (if he happens to be on the same dance floor as yourself).

Cost is $40 for the series; payment due on the first day of class.
(Discount price for college students: $32) There is no partner discount.

Private Lessons
Gina is available for private lessons at the rate of $50/hour for 1-2 students. Please contact her for information about group rates.
